TOPwindows was founded in 2010 by three friends (Job Waleson, Auke Pul & Folkert Roest) with the aim of creating a company that would make it easier for consumers to replace the windows on their boats without any problems. In the process, a new product was developed: boat windows with polymer window frames. This is unique in the water sports sector and offers many advantages over conventional aluminium window frames. Thousands of boat owners have become satisfied TOPwindows customers thanks to the company's customer-focused approach and the provision of measurement and installation services.

Due to high market demand, TOPwindows started developing polymer portholes in-house in 2018. Developing the first porthole took over two years. Three sizes of condensation-free portholes (all CE-A certified) are now available in different models. At TOPwindows, you can order either single- or double-glazed portholes. Innovations have also been made in the options for ventilation on board. TOPwindows has developed a unique mosquito net-rainshield combination that ensures leak-free ventilation during a downpour without letting any unwanted company in.
